Finally got a chance to play with my Genie today! Once in a while, I just want to find a pebble and make a cab, so that's what I did! These are rocks I got from Jamie years ago. Here's the before shot: and here's the after: This one is a mystery! I still have a handful of these pebbles left, and it was like playing with Boulder Opal, but it's not. It seems to have pyrite, and really reminds me of BO, but I'm pretty sure it came from Jamie and AZ?? Anyone know what it is?

Thanks Mario and Helen! Helen, I'm really loving that last stuff too! It's my favorite, because it was so unexpected when I started. It was grinding into mud, so it wasn't until I had it rinsed and roughly shaped that I saw what was coming out. The other rocks I have like it are equally ugly, so who knows what's inside? Thanks Ed, I really love the blues and greens from AZ!!

The more I look at it, the weirder it looks, Dee. It's got the scalloped agate in the middle, then you have pyrite, and chrysocolla, and what looks like ajoite, and tubes or even poppies, and pale purple like amethyst. Never seen anything with so many minerals from different places in one rock before. VERY neat, you should wrap that in something special:)!!

Very cool pieces but that last one takes the cake. I'm not good with identifying but I'm seeing the same kind of stuff Helen is in that. Might just be a mixed conglomerate, but if you have multiples, there might be a specific name.
