There's this place in Silverton. www.ivegotrocksinmyhead.com. If this place doesn't have what you need, they should be able to steer you in the right direction. Also online there's www.rockshed.com. I've had good experiences with them. As far as finding stones... as you know, you folks have some really nice agates along the Pacific Northwest Coast. Henry

Over in Newport there is a Gem and Mineral store - Facets, 4facets.comI bought my first couple of tumblers from them and greatly appreciated the help and advice they gave me. Strange -- I can't find their address on the web site. Their store is a bit hard to find as it is not on the main drag -- give them a call for directions. Their grit prices are quite good, especially when you stop in and don't have to pay for shipping. They will also give instructions and help if you buy a tumbler from them. They will tell you which beaches are currently producing good rock. When possible support the small local shops -- there's not many of them left. You should also check out the lock rock club: www.wamsi.org
