Howdy folks, You know I've been sorting and messing up my photobucket stuff lately and finally sorted out all my cab pics. Got to thinking how there are some cabs I like so much or that bring back fond memories that I'd never part with. I know others of our gang probably have some favorites stashed away too so how about a thread for our favorite one or two or three cabs from our stashes. Here are three of my favorites to start off....Mel One of my favorite Woodward Plumes. This came from the outside cut off a peanut agate nodule and it's the only of this color I've ever found at Woodward. Black Crazy Lace explosion: And of course a cab of my favorite Toenails: Oops, make that my favorite four *L*. My favorite Marfa Black Plume.

Hmmmmm, that's a hard one since I love all of them, but these two were probably my favorites (both Victoria stone) ...... I can't remember the name of this, gift slab sent by Christopher..... Another unknown, in my wife's collection Imperial jasper One of my most favorites of all time, black and white zebra agate (India)....

Wow Mel, That is probably the hardest question I have ever had to answer as my favorites change daily. Here's a few though.... Sugilite with Richterite (with finger smudges that I sure wish I would have cleaned off before taking the pic!): Obsidan Claw (from Beef's Christmas present one year): And the recent African Pietersite that I did: Humongous cab with a perfect fortification (I thought I bought it as Crazy Lace but the cab looks different.... need to go through my old slab pics to remember) : AZ Anniversary Plume Agate: Mexican Flame Agate: And a piece of Randy's Green Zebra Agate:

Wow what a feast for the eyes. Got nothing even close to the astonishing quality Bobby and others can show. But got the same problem in choosing something for posting. OK here we go: My favorite Montanas todate My Favorite Moss agates My favorite other Agates (Turkic Needle and Berber) And my favorite Jasper (Biggs, Pawancawa and Porcelain Jasper)

You all know this is got to be hard for me to do, but the cabs that bring me the fondest memories are the pre-forms I got from Bearcreek Lapidary. Montana Agates One of the rarest stones I have ever come across-or rather, haven't seen since I got this stuff, Maury Mt. Moss in Amethyst. Another rare stone, Black Carey Mt. Plume Agate And a few I came up with myself. Boulder Opal A "Bots-dot" Morrisonite Royal Sahara Jasper

Man, oh, man is there some eye candy here, of what? !!!!! Great job everyone! I have to say that of all the treats I've seen that green zebra agate really spoke to me. What a cool cab. Never seen anything like it. I'll have to talk to Randy about that LOL!

This was the very first purple opal I ever put on the wheels. I kept getting amazed at the colors coming out from under the white matrix. I have not found another one that equaled this in color since. Diane at Frog and Bear Creations wrapped it for me recently doing a great job! Attachments:
