Hmmm, I'm not sure. Ojinaga Plume from down near Big bend n the Mexican side has black and gold colors but in all my examples the plumes are quite well developed like big dendrites in lines. Could be mine is cut a different direction than yours that makes the plumes longer because mine has the blue/ white agate areas too....Mel

Where ever it's from you've got a great looking agate. Colors are beautiful. I know, ZERO help ... I just noticed you're from Pleasant Hill. I grew up in Walnut Creek, just next door. Good to meet you!

Ha nice to meet you Paul. Grew up here too - moved away for 30+ years and now I'm back in the house I grew up in helping care for my momma.
Thanks Mel that does look a lot like it - I might be a cutting direction issue like you said. I've passed that idea along to my brother - it's actually a piece he took home from the sale.
