I'm with Daniel on this. I hope they replace the entire assembly, housing, bearings and arbor. Something caused the bearings to go out, They should be good for many years of use. I'll bet that when they machined the housing that the 2 bearings are slightly out of line with each other, close enough that they could force the arbor shaft through but enough to put an uneven load on the bearings, causing them to wear prematurely.
