He say's it is his 3rd cab....it is heat treated coral. Not an easy task to get the white rind in the frame. This was a tall task well done. It was trimmed from a coral head that was made into a sphere(I will post sphere pic here too). The boy has some finesse. My wife send her gratitude At this weekend's dog party, Tela's wrap received rave reviews ,over-shadowing my coral and Scott's grind. The sphere Thanks Scott and thanks Tela and thanks for looking

Randy, I have to agree.
Tela did a great job wrapping and Jim chose an outstanding stand for the sphere.
Great work guys.

Thank you for the comments everyone. Credit goes first to Jim for being cool enough to try heat treating his self collected goodies to start with! And then to Scott for being so awesome as to surprise him with a pendant from a cab he did himself. I know that coral can be tricky to work, so kudos to him! And, the sphere is totally yummy! As I like to quote.... "I love it when a plan comes together!" tntmom we'll have to talk

I think Scott was Vice President of Coordination, Tela Metallurgy Engineering and Jewelry Design. Jim was Mining Operations and Chief Chef. And the cab and sphere was sent to China to be cut by Coordination. Scott runs his mouth too much to cut jewels that pretty Already got 2 requests for duplicates...

I simply must say, Tela was very gracious to be a part of this endeavor. She also kindly provided some pointers so I can make cab #4 better.
Thanks to you.
Mrs. Jamesp - please enjoy your pendant for a very long time.
