This batch has Bahia agates (from the Rock Shed), Bubble Gum agates (Rock Shed), a generous hand full of self collected stuff and three lonely Lakers (Kingsley North). To me the bahias are prettier on the inside than outside. The bubble gum is problematic with vugs , voids and druzy areas, but a fine looking stone none the less. I have more coming down the pipe and am looking forward to finishing them........ The batch Half dollar sized Bubble Gum Half dollar sized Bahia Some of my slabettes. A bubble gum surrounded by Bahia Three Bahia brothers from the same mother This was a plain looking brown and yellow Bahia outside. I was pleased to see the banding when I cut it open. Thanks for looking everyone.

You're on a roll, tkvancil! Nice looking stones. I like the idea of cutting open the Bahias to show the banding. I recently made a trade for a handful of lakers. There are a couple that are fairly large (about half the size of a golf ball) that are not broken at all so I can't see any banding at all. I was going to tumble them as is, but I wonder now if I should cut them in half first.

That is a really nice batch. You can tell you spent some time roughing them. Love the shapes and shine. Great job

You have lots of nice rocks in these batches. Those bahia agates are tough to cut on the saw but make nice little slabs.

Cool agates! I got some Bahia too but they take forever to get the little holes to go away.
