Why yes they most certainly do. Each and everyone are mechanical geniuses.
I would like to argue this point. Some have sent me BS explanations beyond comprehension.
I worked with metal for 20 years, you didn't, let's shut the trap for a minute and assume you don't know everything. I'll also admit that I don't know everything but that's where the fault lays.
That being said don't forget to loosen the vise crossfeed stabilization bolt and come up with the idea the crossfeed is flying apart and the vise bottom plate is 'flexing' because you don't understand how things work.
Now let's all go poor a healthy dose of kerosene in our saws and have at it!

Everyone has to vent occassionally! Perfectly understandable... It seems we have a few enragers here, that think they know everything and lack social skills.

Way to go Rob. I hope it helped. Just made sure that you do not drink the kerosene. Jim

LOL actually that did make me feel better. This doesn't involve anyone on the board. I gotta call last night with someone upset over a saw I sold them awhile back claiming the crossfeed won't move and all the set collars would not stay tight and trying to turn the crossfeed knob took 21" upper arm strength. So instead of loosening the stabilization bolt we ended up with the person drilling a hole thru the allthread which weakend it and then it broke and instead of flipping one end of the vise up they took a 2" hole saw to the side of the tank to get it out.
Far out.
I was out of budlite last night and was forced to drink PBR in which drinking kerosene doesn't sound like a bad idea. Just for the record I don't drink everynight lol, the neighbors came over etc it was a group effort.

So, you're saying the 20 beers was a group effort? Not 20 yourself? That's a good thing. Now you've gone and done it - I opened iTunes on my computer, played through all the AC/DC songs, and now I'm listening to Aerosmith, Janie's Got a Gun.

I sold a saw to someone like that before, he still claims it was a lemon but we all know differently.

After almost 20 years of heavy construction I learned to drink a cold one pretty fast.

OMG, I'm surprised you are functioning this morning! I think 20 beers would kill me! I'd wake up in a few days and feel like I was hit by a truck. I used to drink more, but cut back to just a few occasionally (beers, I mean. Rum and cokes are another subject!). I've recently quit drinking, but for my own reasons. Got no problem with people having a good time, and tying one on!

Unfortunately some rock people have the mechanical aptitude of a... General manager.

I once had a sales job. My "assistant manager" did not understand the concept of a "drop ship". No amount of explanation could help her understand.
She'd prolly drill a hole in the saw body to fix it.
I have a lot of milk to drink. gotta go.

An assistant manager has to drop a lot of brain cells to become a manager.
