My first wrap went well except for the bail.. I know what i have to work on! Overall I am very pleased with how this first one turned out!! Practice makes perfect... Ill post some more wraps up as they are completed!!

Yes, most of the wrapping is pretty tight and even. Great for a first try.

It is better than most first tries I have seen and I like that you did not cover up a bunch of the stone. Jim

Well that just sucks:). That's SO much better than my first, second fifth. Ok I have only done a few but you are really doing great for the first one! Grats
And the truth is practice will make us better. I think with practice we all can approach the mechanical skills of the pros on the board. How ever IMO only a few of us will approach or match or even surpass the artistic skills of our pros. I have no artistic aptitude at all but am very mechanical by nature, my wife definately gives me the design ideas.
I hope that's makes a bit of sense, just woke up, no coffee, typing on an iPad from a hotel bed. LOL

very cool. There's a few of us just getting started wrapping so its fun to learn from each other and watch what others come up with. I know you probably didn't want to cover the stone with the swirls up top but that one on the far left looks like it could snag on clothes so that's something to watch out for.
