Bobby: Second example looks like palm bog. First one is some of that pisolite type stuff that occurs in sedimentary rocks like limestone but sometimes in agate too. They call it pisolite (fish egg stone) when the little built up concretions are larger than a few millimeters and oolite if they are tiny. Both your materials occur at multiple locations on the Mojave Desert and elsewhere. I found some stuff very much like your first example except it was more yellow as cobbles in river gravel in Wyoming one time.....Mel
