I look for Turquoise, sometimes on Ebay, since I cant get any on this forum. A couple of silly auctions caught my eye: - Lucky Seven
link - Face in Turquoise

Well, he does indeed have a 7 in his lucky seven turquoise and there is a sorta face on the much less expensive face one. Truthfully, I can see some weatlhy asian gambler wanting a piece of lucky 7 turquoise and actually paying it. I find those listings silly too. But I think these are distasteful. Chips of slag glass being sold for way too much. Stealing peoples money in hope & ignorance.

The folks that fork out the dough for this bunk can either afford it or could stand to learn a lesson. Either way I need to dig through some piles so I can pay for that new truck that's calling my name.

Those Asians may gamble a lot away but they don't give away anything healing stones are popular but slag glass healing stones I dont think they would have the same aura and power as minerals Back in the 70s or 80s I got a ThumbThing for a Christmas gift. It was like a worry stone. You rub it when you feel anxious. I wasn't even a rock tumbler in those days! Charlie

It reminds me of a guy who used to walk down the street making crude, indecent sexual proposals to women.
"Don't you get slapped in the face a lot?" a friend asked.
"Sure," he said. "But you'd be surprised how often I score!"
I don't know how many cabs this guy sells but in economics there's what they call "The Greater Fool" approach to sales.

gemfeller - I had a co-worker who said "I get laid by one of every two hundred women I ask. My goal is to ask 200 a day." And he did. 0.5% success ratios ain't bad in that light! haha!!!!

0.5% success ratios ain't bad in that light! haha!!!! I took a job selling vacuum cleaners long ago during my college days to pay for my meal ticket. My sales manager emphasized that you average a sale one out of every 12 cold calls. You might go 24 or 36 before a sale but then you might get 2 or 3 sales in a row. A numbers game. What's interesting is that a lot of bored housewives also played a numbers game with young college-age vacuum cleaner salesmen. I often didn't sell the machine but there were other "job benefits." Sometimes I got called back for 3 or 4 "demonstrations." Those were the days!

That all sounds good... but who would want to be with the women he finally scores with

I wasn't being serious. And not all people with $ are smart esp the ones that inherit it. Or ones that prance around on a stage, act like jackasses in public and don't even know where the checks are coming from.

Look at the free advertising he is getting from his listings. free advertising for what? How many people have found he even existed from the fact that people are posting about him. I for one did not know he existed until you posted links to his sales.
