I picked up some slabs and I was hoping someone could tell me what they are. I have no clue, but they are pretty and I would like to find some more of them. Slab 1 - ID'd as Purple Aztec Lace Slab 2 - ID'd as Chrysocolla Slab 3 - ID'd as Chrysocolla Slab 4 - ID'd as Sodalite Slab 5 - Tentative ID as Gary Green (?) Any help is appreciated! Thank you! Roger

I will take a guess or two. #5 might be Gary Green although the red is kind of unusual in it. #1 might be Burro Canyon or Purple Cow
Some of the experts can correct me though.

#4) = sodalite, unless there is pyrite in it.
Guessing = #2-3 are the same material. Some copper mineral in matrix.
#1) I hate to say, but I have never seen Burro Creek with layers. Sowbelly, perhaps?

I would agree with Sherie on the 1st 3, and 4 is sodalite as Scott already confrimed, 5 looks off to be gary green but could be but I think not, not sure really what that one is. George

Thank you all - I did find some examples of Gary Green slabs online that have some red mixed in.
