Having dealt with ebay off and on since the beanie baby days i'd like to report that there is still no shortage of complete morons. Some of them are just plain stupid, others are illiterate, some think that 2+2=jello. By far the biggest group of idiots hang out on ebay motors. I avoid that category at all costs......and you should too. Not sure if it's just that all the motorheads are belligerent alcoholics or have too much sweat in their eyes to see what they are reading or are bipolar or what. At any rate never ceases to amaze me and I shouldn't be surprised at all. Anyhows I suppose my manly hormones are a little elevated just coming in from lifting weights and then watch some TARD jump in on a $500 auction right at the last minute and immediately email me afterwards saying he made a mistake? ?? Unfort for him his phone number was included in the check out info and I just got done reaming him a new one I am no mood to deal with DUH right now. I have had numerous conversations with previous bidders then this idiot comes out of left field and just shits all over everyone. He ended up hanging up couldn't get a word in edgewise.

I used to sell car parts on ebay. I had someone bid up a set of used timing gears once then ask to back out because after the auction he did his homework and discovered he could buy them new for the same price. I had another buy a clutch master cylinder I clearly sold as a rebuildable core, then want a refund because it needed rebuilding. In that instance I said ok, send it back. A couple days later he says where's the money and continued to threaten. When I finally got it back it had been sent several days after he had started asking where's the money. When I opened the box there was a different MC in it, I assume the one he took off his car.
Had someone from overseas demand I refund the duties he paid because I refused to lie and send it as a gift. The stories go on and on and on

FOR SELLERS
ebay = too expensive
ebay = too many drunk buyers
ebay = too many morons
ebay = too many buyers whom feel entitled to whatever their imagination decides they are entitled too, including stuff not in the original description.

"When I opened the box there was a different MC in it, I assume the one he took off his car."
Imagine that. That's exactly the kind of crap that will happen on ebay motors more so often than other areas. They were trying to pull a fast one on you and treat you as if you were Carquest etc.

Pretty much. And only 3x in 10 will anyone acknowledge any favor you've done for them. The odds may be even lower than that.
