Our rock club had a very large (80,000lbs) collection donated to us and I'm in the process of sorting it out for our show rock sale. I kinda like to be able to tell people what something is when they ask about it before they buy the piece. I'm accurate about half the time. This piece is a totally new stuff for me. The collection consists mostly of materials from the Northwest so it might be from that (very large) area. Bob

Bob, I might be interested in stuff from this sale. Sphere stuff of old school location. Indian Paint Stone, Wingate Pass, Poppy Jaspers (not morgan hill)..... you get the idea. Feel free to PM me if you wish to pursue it.

kaldorlon - a ton of rocks is surprisingly small. For instance a 55 gallon drum holds 1000# of most stones. Four to a pallet, two tons. Twenty pallets 40 tons. Stored in this manner I actually could comfortably store twice that, in the backyard of my suburban tract, cookie cutter home. Hidden nicely by the orchard of fruit trees
