I was placing my WWR rocks in the 40lb.er and I ran out of 60/90. Had just enough for the 12lb.er. Went to the local place where I usually get it, and they were out so I just ordered from Kingsley North. Now I'll have to wait until it arrives. Guess if you're a tumbling kinda hound, then patience is part of the package.

Yep! Patience is definitely part of the game. I've only just started this hobby/addiction & have noticed that I use much more of the coarse grit than any other. It can be aggravating enough having to wait while your rocks tumble but even more so having to wait for your supplies so you can even start to tumble. Last

Sorry to hear that I am in a similair boat. I just got an AR2 Thumbler the other day and some rock today to start my second batch. The only thing is I left a brand new 5lb bag of 60 /90 at my classroom. I will not be back to school till Tuesday Tuesday will be a big rock day for me moving first batch to 3rd stage and starting my shiny new tumbler

Mr Condor: If you have a Tractor-Supply near, you can purchase a 50 lb round container of 60/90 aluminun oxide grit for about $ 25.00 (at least that is what I paid 6 months ago). It has worked well for me so far. Take Care! Still diggin' n the Dirt, GaRock (Frank).

HEHEHE Empty tumblers are a SIN!!!!!!! OH I get 60/90 from MIles SUpply too- Nice stuff- after shipping it was $.85 / Lb (in the 50 Lb size) I think the price has gone up a bit but it is still a swinging deal (if you can use that much grit!)

OH I forgot- I always save my old slurry- that way if I run out of a certain size (sin of sins) at least I can fill the barrel with used stuff and still make SOME progress on a load! (No you do not get as good of a grinding action- but you do get something)
