What tests have you done for yourself?
Streak on aporcelain tile?
Scratch with a knife?
Does it bubble with acid put on it?
Can you describe the area surrounded by green that looks druzy? Is there crystals in there?
Maybe a pic outdoors for faster shutter speed and sharper image is iin order?
Good luck with your quest!

Thank you for answering, friend. Knife blade leaves metal behind...no scratch. Acid bubbles slightly. Yes, those are crystals I don't have any ceramic tile to do streak test...but I'm thinking it's a form of chrysoprase, although the green is a bit dark.
Your thoughts?

too hard to scratch but bubbles with acid is out of my league. What acid didya use?
Chrysoprase is nickel colorant chalcedony. Could be the green part, but wouldn't expect it to bubble.
This is pure free form thought speculation and not based on any real knowledge.
[start mental riff]
I am almost thinking copper ore based chalcedony. Red cuprite/black copper oxide/green malachite is a common color triad, to be harder than steel means it could be silicified into a "gem" form. Never heard of such an animal!
[end of mental riff]
I am not the right guy for this. Hoping Daniel or Mel or another genius here will offer guidance.

looks like malachite running through matrix. I've seen similar stuff out of the dixie apex mine here in southern utah.

It was hydrochloric acid, shotgunner. But Don....malachite is very soft. This stuff leaves metal from my knife blade, when I try to scratch it. It won't scratch, friend.

Sorry - couldn't help myself. Lack of sleep makes me punchy after a while. I meant kryptonite anyway

sealdaddy - I have some "agate" here that is too hard to scratch with a knife but bubble with acid. I tried to polish it and areas of red (in my case maybe not yours) undercut. I put acid on it and the red areas bubble. Limestone in my stone is red and scratched with a knife. Is the bubbling in your all over or localized to one color? If it's one color try to scratch that color. Maybe you have a jasper/marble combo.
