Peep, peep, I heard the sound of a batch in my lot-o hatching today Mixed batch and some hearts Thanks for looking Bill Whole batch The rocks- a big mix Close up of some desert jaspers- easy to tumble and I love the colors and patterns in these The hearts My favorites Breccia? Pet wood Pet wood- knot in the middle Not sure what this is I tried my best on the IDs- may or may not be correct Thanks Bill

Great looking stuff Bill. The desert jasper is awesome is it from the rock shed? The first heart that you called petwood looks more like a jasper to me?. I am thinking bruneau jasper.

Chuck The desert jasper was from the rockshed. You are probably right about the ID as I called it pet wood only because the pattern looked like a piece of wood. My ID capabilities are poor at best. I just gave them my best shot because I'm tired of typing that I don't know what this is... Ha Thanks Chuck Bill

Great job on them Bill. Glad to have you posting them. Beautiful variety and they all came out nice. I am quite sure both of the "petwood" are really nice jaspers. Petwood will have much more uniform, smooth, well spaced annual rings (unlike the second jasper), and nearly always will not have a sudden big void of rings (unlike the first). But by whatever name, they are nice!

Great blue shades in some of those jaspers. Just a super batch and of course the hearts are standouts!

Nice batch, great finish, thanks for the show. Thinking the first "pet. wood" is Bruneau jasper and the second looks a lot like Biggs.
