Jason- I just busted up 25 more pounds into tumbling size but I am nearing the bottom of the barrel. I started with over 80 pounds back in June. I am already thinking I may go back next year now that I have some experience and know what to look for.

Are you looking forward to collecting Chuck. Or just getting more stock. I enjoy the collecting.
That site you showed was a mine full.

James- I think if we go back it will be a completely different trip now that we have slabbed, cabbed and tumbled all this stuff we really know what to look for now and can high grade instead of paying for pounds we didn't really use. The lady that owns the farm where we collected actually tried to talk us into high grading before we weighed out and paid but at fifty cents a pound I happily just paid up.

Yes. Be patient and particular. And you will remember what you have learned messing w/the stuff. Access your memory.

Love those Montana agates - beautiful! And of course the random rock at the end. So much going on in there! Thanks for sharing!
