Thanks Scott! I'll play it for the grandkids tonight - maybe they'll finally understand what I'm always cackling about.......then again...maybe not!
And just for James: "The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they are okay, then it's you." Rita Mae Brown

Glad to see I ain't the only one that grew up on Mad Magazine. I couldn't. I was pretty much grown-up when Alfred E. Neuman's face first became familiar. But I certainly remember the debut issue of Playboy with Marilyn Monroe on the cover!

Every month a new pile. Now that I have put that word 'parody' in your head, look at it thru that filter. Did I help?

Well -I played the funny farm for the kids. My 4 yr old granddaughter thought the refrain was funny, but her 30 yr old father just shook his head & left the room. No accounting for some people!

My husband called me from the hospital a little while ago & told me to sit down so he could tell me something. I start to panic, thinking they found another tumor or something. He tells me he's taking me on the Marty Povich show and getting DNA tests on the kids! Apparently that's what they had on the TV today while he was getting his chemo & somehow, some family got rich from this - he was laughing too hard to make much sense!
All I know is that he's dang lucky he's 100 miles away from me right now!
