Hi all,
So, it looks like I'll get a chance to drive to Quartzite on 1/18 or 1/19. Will things still be happening then, and any suggestions on "must not miss" things to do?
My main reason for going is to purchase a bunch of rough from t-rocks in quartzite, it just happens to coincide with the timing of the other events. More than likely, I'll just be there for a day trip.
Thanks!

Well if you reschedule for the 22nd you will catch the opening day of the Pow Wow. We will be at space #275 drop by and say hi if you are around. The RTH pot luck will be on the 25th at Tony's spot in Desert Gardens next to the Diamond Pacific building.

If you want rough be sure to visit Desert Gardens. It is in full swing now that all the late arrivals are here.

I'd say a must not miss is Desert Gardens. Oh and maybe going to see the Reader's Oasis bookstore in town to see the local color...lol. www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/31581

Haha, Diane, I know who you are talking about! Yeah, Mr. Winer is a kick. One year, a friend went with us and asked if we'd seen the guy with the leather clothes. We told her, that wasn't clothes, that's his (almost) naked tanned hide!

I'm surprised he is still around. We saw him the first year we came. He looked like some shoes I threw out then. He had a tent on the main street and stood around outside in a thong.

LOL Jean. I could see where she would think that although I don't think leather hangs like that...lol.
