Tela, one more thing: a mini-torch can only handle little pieces. They work great on a piece the size of an American quarter. Anything much bigger will require a bigger torch.

Back to my Hoke Torch, it is good to hear that others ( roy) have used this without problems. Back in 1955 I did some interesting things with an alcohol lamp and a blow pipe. This should do better than that. I did a little cutting with an acetylene torch and no longer remember the settings I used. a check on line says the oxygen should be 60 psi, acetylene should be 10 psi. Is that right? I was surprised to find that although natural gas street pressure is around 60 psi, it is reduced to 1/4 psi as it enters the home. I thought it would be higher than that. Using the proportions above, 6 X 1/4 = around 1 1/2 psi on room air. Those that know, does that sound right?
