I was recently given some turquoise and would really like to get some input to these. While at Quartzsite I rand across a dealer at the Pow Wow who had some very much like these. But I didn't have mine with me?? What was I thinkin! Anyway he had what looked just like these listed as "New Landers" turquoise and was asking .50/ct for them. I am perticularly interested in know what and where these are from, the one I'm touching weighs in at 161cts Any help from you knowledgeable turqoise fans would be greatly appreciated and Thanks!!

So, I'm thinkin that the material in the first picture is " New Lander" material. The second picture is probably from the Blue Boy mine in the Candelaria Mtns. Nevada.
owyhee, thanks for your input!

Not a problem. I have a turquoise addiction. You made a great find. I Have some of the New Lander but no Blue Boy. MJ
