So I gave up on the Labradorite for now, until my bottle of Opticon ships anyway. Went back to the Epidosite project. Here's a couple of rocks I gathered out on the Pawnee grasslands. I posted a picture of one of them awhile back to this thread, it's that nice green one at the bottom: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/post/707832This stuff tends to make layers but it's not like a flat sheet but more like a wavy fan of variegated material. I thought I would cut it on the layer and that way when I rounded it out I would catch the different layers. But as you can see from the other backlit piece that I cut the same way the internal structure isn't so simple. It's an interesting rock that is for sure.
