Jack, if anything you should be coming out of rock hybernation so your only excuse to slow down now is if you're in the Southern hemishpere where winter is approaching! ;D Nice job on those too BTW Especially those garnets, they can be a bugger to fully shine with no chips. I guess they must be easier to get done on a vibe. If I ever decide to go commercial I will DEFINATELY be looking at getting one.

Hi All ,
Thanks for your comments
I just enjoy polishing ,
These garnets were given to me 8 years ago.
I rough polished them in the rotary first as with all my rocks.
I Have a extention to finish off as well as a alotment to plant up and lawns to cut in a small gardening operation I do for the elderly,
I run out of time each day as well as energy!!!
This is what retirement is , so beware all you young ones !!!

They're looking good, Jack.
Those garnets are cool, and so tiny. My slow brian did not notice the lighter when i first looked them. Then my mind caught up with my eyes. They're cool!
Have a top day, Mike
BTW, LCARS in my part of the southern hemisphere, we come alive more at this time of year too. Because, finally, it's starting to cool down...a bit. Today is still going to be around 30 degrees C (86F). Bring on the cooler weather...please!

Absolutely love the Garnets! I've got some GREEN GROSSULAR GARNETS coming & can hardly wait to get them started! Do the Garnets take as long as Emeralds in terms of getting them to a final polish (hopefully somewhat close to what you've achieved)? Thanks for sharing. Last
