Stage one....Fourteen weeks and not even looked at..
Stage two...Three hours. Work at it dilegently. Somewhat stressful.
Stage three...10 minutes. Looks good. We made it. Sammy will be happy and so will we.
Stage four...Four to six weeks. Our day to be officially happy. YES! We beat the income tax deadline. Phew! Won't do that again. Now folks, if you haven't done your taxes you only have a few hours left. Don't be like me. It's not good.

Or you could have your refund deposited in checking by the end of Feb. But to each their own. LOL.

I have heard that filing early can improve the odds of getting audited.
That's a ton of fun !!!!!!!!

We always file towards the end- forces us to NOT spend the money too soon!

I did mine Sunday. Only have to pay $26.00 to the Feds. That works for me. Wish I still got a refund.... But a large paycheck every two weeks is better then a small one..

Think of it this way folks. If you file on the very last day, this year it's today, the 17th, and you end up owing Uncle Sam, then you've had the use of HIS money INTEREST FREE! But, the other side of the coin is if you file today and get money back then HE'S had YOUR money interest free for 4 months!! So, do what I do. Figure out your taxes in January when you've received all your statements and see if you're getting money back or paying. Then you'll know if you need to hang onto HIS money, or get YOUR money back! What a great game this wonderful country allows us to play each year! Here's a great way to insure you'll get money back. GIVE GIVE GIVE!!! Donate all those clothes in your closet to the Salvation Army! And don't forget to use either Turbo Tax or really any of the better software packages that have the "Deduction pro" included. Because you will get a chunk of change if you keep a record of all the clothes you donate! But, remember not to claim it all in one year or you won't get those larger refunds each year. Remember to have fun with numbers!!!
