Got me stumped. Looks greenish on my monitor but I've never seen root or bog with that look or color to it....Mel

Mel, Yes it is distinctively green. These slabs are about 3" across and the material is relatively hard. Bob

Is it self collected or something you bought, Bob? In some ways it looks almost like an Indian green tree agate variant. I was just thinking, there is some green looking palm root over at Horse Canyon so I suppose there could be bog of that same color but to me your examples just don't look quite like palm bog to me. Look more like some kind of mossy material.....Mel

Might be Epidote in Feldspar.
