We get a lot of this brownish/reddish/tannish jasper out on the Pawnee grasslands east of me, and I've been tumbling it with greater or lesser success. I pulled this piece out of stage one and noticed this cool pattern on it, almost like some kind of ancient glyph or something.

It looks like a pot on a fire with steam coming up from the pot.

Looks like a lot of things. Never boring. That's a keeper. Are you going to cab it?

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. If I could cab it with the pattern yea maybe. I'm afraid to tumble it anymore or it'll wear it off... Right now it's just sitting out for a month, I'm leaving tomorrow to go raft down the grand canyon.
