Hello again. This may have been covered here before, but I was curious if you can stack 60/90 grit. In other words, if the stones weren't sufficiently smoothed the first time around, can you just add more 60/90 grit instead of dumping the slurry and starting over? If so, how many cycles can you do this for?
Many thanks
Henry

Greetings [sanjuro66] Henry yes you can add extra grit to the barrel for up to 3 times, usually adding 1 Tablespoonfull per time, but it slows the action down. I would hesitate to give certain number of times, I would judge by the thickness of the slurry. If it’s too thick it will slow down the grinding. In that case you could pour some off & add more water & grit. I run ten day cycles & then start fresh.
