I've been working with the incredible material that James sent me and I am in heaven! I thought I'd take a break and share a cool shot of a preform. It's not as colorful as some of the other coral but you can really see the polyps, which makes me dizzy with delight, enjoy!

Gorgeous. The way the light glows through that you should almost get a bunch of it and make a lamp shade from it. That would have some great glow!

I am happy you are liking the coral. It is a solid material for sure. I see the polyps thru the light. Even the dull stuff looks brilliant w/light behind it. I do not know why miander. Looks like you are working it over pretty good. Please post the finished jewel. After polished a lot of it has a pattern of tiny capillaries throughout. You can see them in the glare of this tumble
