I got a boatload of preform cabs from my new Guardian Angel, Tela (thank you Tela!) and got to play with a few of them today...Sorry for the picture quality This first one is an unknown Jasper. This one is Graveyard Point, I've drooled over this kind of agate for a long time and couldn't believe I got some to work with!

Hey, check you out! You didn't waste any time. LOL! Good for you Your cabs look great, too. The first is (I believe) fossil foraminifera feather agate from Indonesia. That preform is from a section of the slab that didn't have any feathers, but had great color. It was on the tip of my brain when I was getting it ready to send- now I remember. (I'm getting old.) Have fun!

Tela - there isn't enough sun in a day for me anymore! Each little Baggie is screaming for Fiona, I try and relax but I can't because I want to get working on another one of your preforms-it's driving me nuts! In a good way

Good stuff I know how you feel. I haven't cabbed anything in a week or two and am going a bit crazy lol. I have another 100 cabs to get up on etsy before I make any new ones or wrap anything else..and I have a ton of slabs dying to be worked on. Looking forward to your next gems!

Awesome polish on some fantastic material. You did a great job on them. Also a great job on outlining the cabs to show the best part of the patterns.

Looks like you have gotten a sweet shine on them! It is rewarding to have shiny jewels after the time and efforts. The only thing I hate about working on rocks is how fast an hour goes. . .
