Those are simply outstanding! Much less fractured that what I've seen before from Scotland too. Love those last two pics....Mel

Yep, those last two pictures sure are awesome. The 3rd picture from the bottom looks a lot like our Lake Superior agates. Great batch. thanks for posting.

Agates w/those circles are too cool. Then you have great fortified material. Those are impressive and unique iant. My friend is Scottish and his accent is awesome. He has to talk at 1/4 speed for me to understand. It is not easy for him to slow down. Love his energy. But the pronunciation works on me.

I'd say your rocks, tumbling skills, and photography skills are all excellent. Those are some incredible stones. Some of my favorites are pictures three through six, partially for the variety shown. I was also thinking the same as Chuck that some look an awful lot like Lakers. I think it's the color that's so similar. Are those rocks hard to find, or are they fairly abundant?

Thanks for your kind comments! Much appreciated. Nice to show you all some of mine after I've enjoyed looking at the results of your work so much, not to mention all the knowledge I have learned from all you great folk. Jugglerguy - Initially I found it difficult to spot the agates, as I didn't know what they looked like on the outside. Obviously any picture you see online or in a book shows the highly polished inside of the rock. So I went to known locations, as far as I could tell anyway, and then eventually found small fragments. These gave an idea of the exterior colours and textures I should look for and worked from there to find complete nodules. I took a trip up to my favourite location on Saturday and now I have an eye for them I just couldn't stop finding great pieces -so hopefully there will be lots more to share with you all. I had a great time, but found something so beautiful I don't know if I will ever beat it! This one:
