The symmetry (and asymmetry) of some of these tumbled fragments challenge the mind and the imagination. Thats partially why we can get attached to something so basic and yet so rare. Sleeplessness or fascination. Tom

Rocks make us happy; we can go to sleep with a smile on our face. Your rocks would put a smile on my face!

I love the first one! I've never seen one like it. The second one has some nice sagenite tubes. I also really like the gray/black floater.

Wow Kelly. Those are some really nice lakers. Lake Superior agates are one of my favorites. Last summer I spent a few days looking for them on the west shore of Lake Superior. I found two. And they weren't all the great. But it was fun looking and I did find a really fun site for lakers. And it's not a rockhound site. It's a fishing/outdoor activity site. Turns out some fisherman, mostly in Minnesota I think, at least that post to the site, also look for lakers when out fishing. Some seem to have switched to solely looking for lakers. And where rockhounds specify the rock's size in inches, they use pounds and ounces to indicate the size. Just like a fisherman would with a fish. "Hey Jim, check out the 1/2 pound tube laker I caught today." The forum is photo heavy with some really nice rocks. They find a lot of them. If you're interested it is at www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2642796/Lake_Superior_Agates

Really happy to share them with all of you! So glad you enjoyed !
Yes I enjoyed taking the pictures: I learn a lot about photography each time I take pictures. Can't wait to show you all my next project which will be agates enhanced by sunlight! That will be a little later on today; either late morning or mid-afternoon . I think my camera works best in sunlight.
Peruano - I agree with you: I can sit for hours admiring them and finding so many patterns and different formations that really spark my imagination. No wonder the Romans thought these rocks had the magical powers to give them courage and wits in battle. I believe these are powerful rocks.
Thank you SJPatrick for introducing me to that great website - I want to start fishing this summer and need to find knowledgeable buddies for this new hobby. Thank You!
