Went mining this weekend out near Wickenburg,AZ And found a nice vein of chrysocolla. Mined about two 5 gallon buckets full of it, Only got about 3/4 of the vein more for later! The vein is about 10 feet long here is some that was exposed already. Gunna cut some nice cabs out of this material!! Thanks for looking!!! Chris UPDATE: Just cut some fresh slabs on the saw of the material above.. WOW is all i gotta say!!! Thanks Again!!!

Hardest part was carrying the buckets full back to the truck.

We are fortunate to have a ridge of this in the Barry Goldwater bombing range that we go to every other year or so .It is a tough climb pretty well straight up a cliff, always come home with bruised and bloody shins and knees. It takes a beautiful shine, even the matrix. We locally that have access to it call it "Choclate Mint."

I have a lil bit of everything from alot of the north-eastern states oreg. nev calif utah ariz. and a few other. Have some fluorite thats pretty nice look, alot of my stuff is old stock. I have approx. 20-30 different woods..very colorful ryolite..i dont have any of the stuff like ocean jaspers, morrrisonite or whatever..fossils are limited to a very few...eggs have a few hundred from all over cut and uncut..these are mainly old stock. anyways i could go on...i was just interested in a display slab or rough even an end cut for my personal collection..

Chrysocolla is a 2-2.5 moh so its fairly soft cuts real easy on the saw... Would for sure scratch with knife.
It does tumble well though as i have some previous chrysocolla in with abunch of random harder rocks but they are holding there own in there!!
