Rader Creek I initially assumed by the map and description that this spot was going to be difficult to find. I figured that it might be worth it to try, so I went for it. It turned out that this spot was real easy to get to. I arrived there at night which is often a bad idea in the rural areas because it is so easy to miss trails or roads. The way in was winding, yet had no turns that were not obvious. When I got to the site, there were giant monolithic boulders scattered everywhere. Many were piled up on top of each other and most of them were flat like a used bar of soap. I camped in amongst the boulders, one pile I almost slept under. I chose not to because I could not verify that there was nothing living inside this natural cavern. In the morning I went to the specific location and did not find a whole lot. I wish I would have had a water cannon. That would have made the digging and searching much easier. It was quite obvious that people had been there before as there was a well dug out area which has had tons of material moved from it. After a couple hours of not finding much, I decided to pack up. While I did not find anything here, this is a spot where I have talked to people about and they said they had found a little bit here. You have to be willing to put in some real effort to succeed here. I classify this as a secondary spot when I go to MT. So far I have not been back.

Thanks for the trip report. A lot of the published spots are empty, and such reports like this save time and gas money.
