I believe that may have been an abbreviation for kilograms

Definitely kilograms (kg) on those rocks. At 2.2 pounds per kilogram, the weight makes sense for those small boulders.
A supply like that should almost drive the perceived value (price) down. Apparently, it's not all that rare.

Nice stuff,I would like to see where they collected the stuff! For you, Mike, I can narrow it down to Mexico. The way the numbers are written, specially the numeral "1", is very Mexican. 10 Tons in 2010, if glassy and bitchin most likely when to China. Sad but true.

I believe the attached company/website info has a .pe extension, which I think is for Peru. I actually found a link to the guy by googling the company name. Anyone want to go in on a barrel of chrysocolla? Some other gorgeous stuff there too.
