Well its not an agate so I dont have a clue...... My gal picked this one out of the misc bin for me to cut and the slab pops with pinks and black. Fairly dense, the rock and me ....Curious if anyone has any ideas on ID. Cheers

This appears to be a Rhyolite.

Pretty sure it's Rhodanite from the photo. I have a couple hundred pounds of self mined material from Oregon. Got some pretty slabs to show sometime.

Rhodonite, and very likely from the vicinity of Redding, Ca. I have a couple slabs left of very similar material from the hills West of town
