Well I haven't had a chance to texture anything yet but I sure have been thinking about what would be the first thing to be the guinea pig. It has been wiped off & adjusted so is ready to go. It will be mounted on my dresser, which used to be the drawers under a waterbed frame. Threw away the waterbed, stacked the drawers & attached plywood to the top. Very stable & because the top is unfinished it's kind of rough so the rolling mill hardly even moves. Still have to get a couple of bolts to attach it but it is quite usable now.

Ohhhhhh no James, no sock drying!!!! Hardly ever wear them anyway, mostly sandles. I have plenty of space for the handle, connrock. I made sure of that before I bolted her down.

Serious-looking machine. Remind us of the brand and be sure to report on how you like it. Can't wait to see what you make with it.

Just make sure that counter and cabinet base are well mounted and bolted down too, a large amount of force is applied to that crank arm at times. Don't try to squeeze too much metal down at one time and you'll do well. Imprinting is where you will experience the most strain on the counter top and cabinet base.

Congrats on the new toy, you will love having the mill. I still find new things to do with ours, it is amazing what you can use to pattern your silver, almost endless.
