Hi Everybody,
I'm thinking about getting a "booth" for Quartzsite next year. Is the Tyson Wells location different than the Desert Gardens? Which would you recommend for a small seller like myself?
Thank you! Jeff

What kind of material are you selling. Desert gardens has more of the rough and slab dealers, and Tyson Wells is more of the finished goods. Tyson wells because of its proximity to the Sports show also has more traffic. Another show you might want to consider is the Quartzite Improvement Association Pow Wow which runs for five days during the run of the sports show, a shorter run show which might give you a chance to check things out without the month long commitment.

Thanks OM and Bluesky. Just what I was looking for. Now, if I could only get the Pow Wow people to respond to my emails...

The QIA office is closed from sometime in the spring until fall. Check their website. I don't remember the specific dates. The last few years, there have been extra vendor spaces right up to the show. Of course you have a better selection/location earlier. Save yourself time and get your Quartzsite business license at city hall before checking in at the QIA office. It's always something of a circus.
