Hello, Today at the beach I found one of very few I find here with an agate-y type of banding. Do you think this is an agate? Look forward to tumbling it anyway. Thanks!

I agree.. Agate, Chalcedony, with a hint of quartz. I was going to suggest maybe that it was caramel jasper.. but the bands and colors are not as dense as that of a caramel jasper. I know of a woman in Scotland who lives by the sea and she takes these types of walks on a daily basses. Returning home loads of agate right off the beach. Yet her beach is not sandy dunes more of a very rocky and very similar to your image.

cool find, it looks like traditional lake agate there on the bottom left side with the concentric banding..the rest may be sort of eye-ish or swirly or??? it will be interesting to see what it polishes up to. don't forget to show us the finished product! where there's one like that, there are probably others. keep your eyes open!
