I was wondering if you needed to replace only the rubber or nylon on a drive shaft for a thumblers tumbler AR-12 if this would be possible... i see the rubber and nylon is sold separate but i cant figure out how to get the old rubber off.
If anyone knows how please let me know... i can't find any vids on it but i see that the rubber is sold for that purpose.

Replacing both the rubber and nylon would depend on how much each is worn. I'm not familiar with the AR-12 and am wondering what the 3rd roller on the middle of the shaft is for? After looking at photos of the tumbler it doesn't seem to me that the middle roller is needed? The replacement rollers are sold here,,,, rollers and it wouldn't be very expensive to replace all of them? I'll let someone with experience removing the old rollers on the AR-12 help you but if no one does I'll try to help. connrock

The middle roller is only used if you put ether two 6 or 9 lb barrels on.

i have two thumbler tumblers and keep spare shafts. they are not very expensive but if you have lots of time, order the parts to change the rollers. chas
