Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I look forward to learning more about this awesome hobby from everybody...... i know there are quite a few extremely skilled artists in this board and its wonderful to see how they are so open in sharing their knowledge....cool stuff i love living in SoCal but i find that i have to travel a little ways if i wanna go hunt rocks!! lol

Thanks Steve! I was in Plush Oregon a couple of weeks ago digging for Sunstones...once i figure out how to upload pictures i"ll post pics of my finds... beautiful rugged country out there
