These don't compete with some of the great agates that have been posted this week but they did shine up nicely and there were a few really nice ones in the mix. Here's the mixed rock from the batch varigated tiger eye some agates one killer laker neat moss jaspers flint ridge and of course I had some of this in the barrel These are Lake Huron beach rocks. They do not tumble well at all but my kids pick them up and they are local so we keep doing them anyway. Thanks for looking Chuck

That's a beautiful batch! Even the ones the kids picked up polished well.

That pink/orange/white one in the jaspers picture is really nice. What is that? Of course the laker is really nice too.

I had real high hopes of nice cabs but it kept breaking along the banding while trimming preforms. It was very disappointing but it seems to tumble ok. here were the slabs and I think I only manage one good cab Chuck

It looks sort of like wonderstone, but it must be a lot harder. I like it!

A lot of great tumbles lately, including this batch as well. Still hold the granites high on the list.

Looking good, colorful and shiny, just the way we like 'em. Super picture of the moss agate, really like it.

Nice batch, Chuck. I also wondered about the ones in this pic-
You said that was not wonderstone, but hickoryite. That explains why it polished so well. But how do you get the picture stone to shine like that? Isn't it a softer material? Best I can get while cabbing it is a satin finish.
Again, great tumbles, Chuck.

There was a lot of picture jasper like that in the Big Fun Rock Tumbling Contest. It polished very well for me. Someone else mentioned that they had heard it was hard to tumble during the contest, but I just used my normal procedure and it all polished.
