Fantastic explosion of colors, and great shine!
Yes, jade requires much different polishing methods/media. A real challenger.
I would guess your first unknown is opalite.
Thanks for posting all those beauties!

Congratulations on a fantastic tumble. Love all the color and all the effort put into selecting and bartering for nice stuff really paid off. Thanks for sharing that!

Your rainbow pet wood might be the best I have seen. I have only done 10 pounds of it and it fought me all the way with fractures. Thanks for taking the time to post all the great photos.

Lucky that batch did not arrive for the contest. Those are about as nice as they get. Classic tumbled stuff there.

I loved the story "behind the scenes" about the trades and how you worked to get all the great material... Beautiful shine on everything, Jade is notoriously hard to tumble, looks like those came out smooth and mellow. I hear it can make you cry. Thanks for sharing the story and all the great pictures, nice to see and hear about it!

Thanks for the comments all.
Mel thought the slab might be polka dot agate - without the polka dots (there are some more dots under my thumb). And the other one might be a chert or flint

Wow, they basically look perfect. How long was the tumbling process from start to finish?
Oh yes, jade is a real pain to tumble polish.

Fantastic batch, nice to see some Flint Ridge done so very well, gives me plenty to look forward to with the many lbs of it that I collected earlier this year.

Wow, they basically look perfect. How long was the tumbling process from start to finish? Oh yes, jade is a real pain to tumble polish. No idea on the 60/90. Rocks were constantly moving in and out of that. BUt all my other stages were two weeks in my 12-lb rotary Lortone - 220 SiC, 600 SiC, 1200 SiC, tin oxide
