Hi Everybody...
Quick question, with probably not a quick answer... how cyclical do other sellers find that the rock business is? I noticed that during the spring business was pretty brisk, then during the height of summer business was very slow, and now it is starting to pick up again. Just wondering if that's typical of what everybody else sees? I'm talking primarily about online sales, I'm just starting out trying other venues to sell with.
Thanks! Jeff

Jeff, i have seen that they are VERY seasonal, when everyone is homebound during the winter months and unable to go hounding they are far stronger than during the sunny summer months. Just my observations!!!

I head to the rock shops in the winter and early spring months,I hunt for the rocks the rest of the year, unless it's something I want, that I can't find around here........

Rocks aside, eBay is very seasonal in general.

Very seasonal and goes in spurts, I might go a month or two without a sale and then I will haul a pickup load to the Post Office all at once. Hope you don't need to make your house payment with rock sales.
