This material must have come from a member; I've had it for several years; finally did something with it. Does anyone recognize it? charlie

My first impression, would to say blue agate (Moss Agate) which can be blue of course. But I'll reference Chrysocolla instead.

it does look like a Chrysocolla in quartz. maybe not exactly gem silica, but in that direction.

I'm with Daniel on this one unless it is a dyed stone. A few years ago, Kingsley and some other outfits came out with a lot of dyed crazy lace. Mexican crazy lace is quite porous (One variety is actually trade named dying lace agate) and it takes dye quite well. One of the colors being sold resulted in a very gem silica like material that looked a lot like what you've pictured......Mel
