Man have the last seven or so weeks been just one thing after another. Sept. 2nd, obe of my younger brothers had extensive cancer surgery, that was the begining, he actually had six surgeries in three weeks. He came home after only four weeks. I went over to Portland, OR twice, I didn't want him to be alone, he was unable to communicate because they removed his lower lip because of the cancer and no, he never chewed this was skin cancer. He will have a feeding tube for the next two years. I get back from that and my older brother, who lives in assisted living, has fallen, hit his head on his night stand and they sent himvto the hospital to have it checked out. And guess what, he had a subderal hematoma and spends the next five days in the hospital and he is in rehab now. We will see if he will be able to return to assisted living or if he needs to stay where he is. So after all of that hubbab, I fell asleep at the wheel and drifted from my far left lane, across the right lane and hit the rumble strips nd jerked the wheel left then right, fishtailed a few times and back under control. My heart was in my throat, my husband was screaming at me, although I do not blame him. After that, I went to camp for a couple of days, only to come home to having a nephew in icu from a drug overdose. I hope things slow down here pretty darn quick.
I hope all is better with everyone else. Tammy

Lots of bad news so I hope you get some good in the future. Don't forget that if you get a few moments rock therapy is a good thing. We are all concerned about our brothers and sisters out there so please keep us posted and let us know if you need anything. Jim

Tammy, sending hugs and prayers your way. You are dealing with a lot at the moment. Take care of yourself first and foremost; you want to have something to "go" on. Can't support others in their trials if you don't have emotional and physical resources in hand. Keep us posted, lots of caring folks here who will listen and try to comfort.

Yes Wampidy, rock therapy is a good thing. Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers, I do appreciate them all. Things , so far, are a little smoother, I haven't been to the hospital in a few days, trying to take care of me for a few days. Thank you all.

Tammy that is a lot to handle. I hope the camping was therapeutic even though you came home to more bad news.
Hang in there, it seems like too often "when it rains it pours" with tough life situations and you are in a downpour right now.
Saying a prayer for you and looking forward to smoother sailing for you.

Today my brother went back to Portland OR to have his lips clipped. He was so depressed because it was hard to understand him. He really wanted to be heard. With speech therapy he should be able to speak well enough to be understood. Overall he is on the mend.

Hope you can take some time like others said and take care of you. I threaten the wife that I will quit my job and stay home (not that I could ) to help take care of her if she doesn't do it herself. Lord knows we love each other but 24/7 of me around would make her nuts.! She gets the idea. Do the same with your health. If you don't do it who will. Our prayers are with you all.

I have been more selfish lately and done things for myself rather then waiting hand and foot on everyone else. I have gone to visit friends and do my own thing more and more. I was starting to have issues of my own so now I set aside time for me to just do what I want to do, not what I have to do. Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.
Tammy
