This would sort grit to 1000. And separate others.

jamesp that is a neat setup! I don't need such fine tuning of sizes, but it is a clever idea. I've seen something similar for separating coins.

I priced some of these a year ago for gold and sapphires,still might buy a set... Thanks for sharing James.

I priced some of these a year ago for gold and sapphires,still might buy a set... Thanks for sharing James. I found a set from 10 to 240 grit. 6 grades. and they were sitting on the shaker. Had no idea what it was, and bought the screens, cap and bottom tray. They were at a scrap yard. I left the shaker. He wanted $100 for the whole rig. The 1000 grit screen alone costs $400 new. I had little idea what it was used for.
