Hi Everybody, Talk about a merry Christmas... I got 4 different shipments in within a week and a half period. I got about 150 kg of Pietersite from Namibia, 50 kg of A grade Mtorolite, 50 kg of good grade Mtorolite, 79 kilograms of malachite (plus another 83 kg single piece monster of it), 210 kilos of polished Lapis Lazuli, and a sample of 5 plus kilos of Shattukite. Here is everything still boxed up Opened up and separated into piles. (Forgive the washed out color... taken indoors under fluorescent. Yuck.) The smallest of the Pietersite piles Mtorolite (top left and top center, actual color is deep emerald green), Malachite, Shattukite (bottom right), and some of the polished Lapis Lazuli. Middle sized pile of Pietersite Biggest pile of Pietersite Closer up of Malachite Lapis Lazuli Mtorolite (sorry it's washed out... true color is deep, deep green!) I guess that's it for now. Once I have some better pictures of the mtorolite (hopefully the green will show up better on camera under the sun) I'll post those too.

Does the lapis have to be polished or made into something for it to be exported?

Does the lapis have to be polished or made into something for it to be exported? No, I just like it better that way. Whenever you see it at Quartzsite, it's always polished.

Now that's some serious rock shopping. Too bad you are so far away or I would come shopping too! Actually, it's probably better that you are!!!!

Impressive piles of rock.
How does one locate suppliers for rough rock that you can trust to send money to and get quality product in return? I don't sell, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't want a box of this or barrel of that to add to my stash.

Looks like you won the rock lottery, rxscram! Woah at the size of that hunka chunka malachite! Do you have some of your material stored in the silver containers? I like 'em!

Where will you be in quartzite? I'm in row C, just a couple spots down from the big white building.
