Looks like a nice haul. I have a little chunk of whatever is in your last photo--so can you tell me "whatever" is? [Is it the moss agate? I've only ever seen MA cabbed and polished.] I found it in a "salted" bucket when we did the tourist thingee up in Franklin and I cannot ID all of my finds.
You are going to have some fun with that sodalite! Please show us some of your cuts for all of your rocks once you have at them, okay?

Oooh nice. Try saving one of the Brazilians, and put it in a tumbler with the rest of the regular rough rock. You'll be amazed at the end result.

Fun stuff there Keith. Love Brazilians and I got some Moss Agate from Snowdog a while back, and it's really neat stuff too. Condor....do you put the whole Brazilian in the tumbler or what?? I have placed cut halves and slabs, but have never tried a whole nodule. I think I just may have to do that. I think I'll grind some of the outer shell off first, and try it out. Post some of your cuts Keith!!!! Steve

Condor I was going to ask the same question do you tumble the whole thing or break it up? By itself or with some type of fill? I have some that I would like to try. THANKS Keith

Sweet bunck of rock you got there Keith. That Moss one looks real nice and I can't wait to see what's inside the brazilians. You never know. Nice to see you have refreshments ready for the cutting too. Steve

I am tumbling some moss agate right now. Its on its second trip through the rough. Stuff is hard as nails. I busted mine up with a hammer but that didn't go so well, got more chips than hunks. Next time I'll try cutting on the saw. Good luck.

Keith: I went to the Franklin NC shows too. Did not know that there were 4 shows around town. Had a great time going thru them all. I was there on Friday. There was a bad rain storm on Thursday afternoon and flooded streets near creeks. I enjoyed all the shows and purchased some rocks too.... Take Care! Still Diggin' N the Dirt, GaRock (Frank)

I was there on Thursday when the food came. I went to 3 of the shows. My boss(aka wife) was with me on Sat. and she had her leash on me every time I saw something GREAT she would give it a good pull and send me the other direction . Keith
