I may have to replace the feed motor in my Beacon Star 10" slab/trim saw. Does anyone know the specs or even a source for that motor? Lynn

Try Diamond Pacific. Their 10" saw is the old Beacon Star.

John, Thanks. I'll ask them this weekend at Desert Gardens. Of course, they'll have the highest price. I'm hoping to find the motor from an industrial supplier. Lynn

It's a Dayton 4rpm gear motor have the same one pricey thought. I have a lot of experience with the system what is it doing? Is the motor turning? Is the screw feed not turning?

I'm happy to report that the existing motor is not burned out as I thought, but still works. Now I know where to get a replacement if I ever need one. Lynn
